Quantitative Brokers Adds Three New Members to Executive Committee
NEW YORK, April 21st, 2021— Quantitative Brokers (QB), (QB), a leading provider of advanced execution algorithms and data-driven analytics for global futures and interest rate markets, named three new members to its Executive Committee.
The new members are Piyush Gupta, Head of India/Lead Market Data; Alina Rakhamimov, Head of Trading Engineering; and Asset Tarabayev, Head of Data Engineering.

ABOUT PIYUSH GUPTA, HEAD OF INDIA/LEAD MARKET DATA
Piyush joined QB in 2017 and has led the scalable and global infrastructure development of QB’s algorithmic trading engines. He now leads QB’s global expansion efforts by adding new partner venues and exchanges. Piyush brings more than 15 years of experience to QB, including low latency/high data traffic engineering, exchange connectivity, and infrastructure development at Bloomberg.
Piyush holds a Master of Science degree in Computational Science and Engineering from the
Technical University of Munich and Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, Surat, India.
ABOUT ALINA RAKHAMIMOV, HEAD OF TRADING ENGINEERING
Alina joined QB in 2019 and has led multiple initiatives including new algorithm development, enhancing trading functionality, and customized client workflow solutions. She spearheads QB's efforts to develop new algorithmic strategies and improve existing development to reduce trading costs and manage execution risk. Her background includes Quantitative Strategist at KANERAI and Qualitative Analyst at Thales Fund Management.
She holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics of Finance from New York University and a Bachelors’ degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
Alina was recognized as one of the “50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds 2020” by The Hedge Funds Journal.
ABOUT ASSET TARABAYEV, HEAD OF DATA ENGINEERING
Asset joined QB in 2020 and leads QB’s Data Engineering, Analytics, and Front-end applications development. He brings more than a decade of experience in electronic trading to QB, spanning software engineering, quantitative research, and product development. Before QB, Asset was a Director on the liquidity management team and Head of US Smart Order Routing at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he led a cross-functional team to research, design, and develop the firm’s suite of liquidity products.
Asset earned a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science from University College London and a Master of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics in Finance from Columbia University.
